AN APPEAL
Beloved members rasikas well wishers philanthropists & music lovers,
It is well known that our Nanganallur Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Samajam is rendering yeomen service spiritually in the field of music for the past 19 years.
Our grateful thanks to the owners of the Ranjani Hall for their generosity in allowing the Samajam to function smoothly for all these years in their premises specially constructed for the exclusive use of the Samajam without any disturbance and with a clear understanding that the Samajam would vacate whenever the place is required by them.It has now become necessary for us to seek an alternate place to conduct the functions of the Samajam.
It is by God's WILL and thanks to the efforts of MUSIC fORUM of Nanganallur the Alandur Muncipality has shown us a way out for an alternate place.
The Alandur Municipal Chairman and the Commissioner were kind enough to permit us to maintain the Mangayakarasi Poona situated at 46th Street,Nanganallur ie the extension of iv Main Road to use the Poona for the functioning of the Samajam by making the necessary improvements there of and to provide necessary amenities to serve the general public.
As such it is proposed to raise funds to the tune 10 lakhs being the initial estimated cost.We therefore request you to kindly donate liberally and help us to continue our services for the cause of music.
Your timely help through your contribution will enable us to complete this project in time which will be cherished by all for ever.
